All our youth workers have been vetted by Disclosure Scotland and carry valid PVG certificates to allow us to work with children and are certificated. We have a child & vulnerable adults protection Policy in place and are registered with Volunteer Scotland.
Parents must complete an parental consent form and emergency contact form to allow their children to participate in any activities. Click here to access the emergency contact form.
Children's photos will not appear on the website without an authorisation form being completed by the parent/guardian.
We have a number of youth workers, male and female, who give of their time to get involved with working with the children in our care.
The purpose and aim of our commitment to children, is to teach them from the Bible, Christian principles and good morals and how they should apply them to their life and to reward them with incentives and prizes for their efforts.
We try at all times to engage the children interactively with the Bible stories, puzzles, quizzes and singing to make their time with us enjoyable as well as educational.
Each year we organise a trip to a family park. The children earn a free place on the trip by collecting points for attendance and good behaviour. See our trips page, link below, for more information and examples of places we have visited.
Keep up to date with our latest news by checking our Facebook page or our feed here.
On the night the teenagers will join us to listen to a short gospel message from the bible first and afterwards will enjoy a time together having supper and enjoying a variety of activities.
Each month we will spend a few minutes discussing subject or answering questions that the children have asked anonymously.
We use our minibus to collect and return the children for around 9pm.
Please use the Contact Us page to arrange collection.
Every 2 years we host The B-I-B-L-E (The Brilliant Interactive Bible Learning Experience)
It is a mobile Bible exhibition which travels throughout the UK visiting Churches, communities and schools. The exhibition is designed to contribute to the curriculum for excellence framework in both primary and secondary schools.
The B.I.B.L.E. is split into 4 different zones each taking up a different aspect of the bible and all created to engage visitors across a variety of ages child to adult.
The zones are easily identified by their colours
Orange - The message of the bible
Green - Old Testament
Red - New Testament
Blue - God Created the Universe
We have invited a number of our local schools to come and attend the sessions, and the reception and attention by all the pupils has always been excellent.
Please click the link below to see some of the schools that have visited the exhibition.
During the school holidays we have arranged holiday clubs for the children and the adults to attend if they wish.
